长期汉语课程Long-term Chinese Language Programs

该课程为期6个月到3年。学生入学时，根据其中文水平被分为不同级别的班级。课程分为四个层次:

The Programs last from six months to three years. Students are placed into classes of different levels according to their proficiency in Chinese upon enrollment. The classes are divided into four levels:

基础  Beginners

初级  Elementary

中级  Intermediate

高级  Advanced

一般来说，经过一到两年的语言培训，学生就可以参加以正常汉语语速为中国学生所开设的课程。汉语能力达到汉语水平（HSK）要求（本科学习需要达到HSK4级，硕士需要达到HSK5级，博士需要达到HSK6级）和其他相关条件的学生可由国际教育学院推荐到桂林理工大学其他院系学习。

In general, after one to two years' training in these language programs, the students would be enabled to attend the classes instructed in normal speed Chinese for the native Chinese students. The students whose Chinese proficiency meet the HSK test requirement (HSK 4 for undergraduate studies and HSK 5 for postgraduate studies and HSK for Ph. D studies) and other related conditions can be recommended by the College of International Education to study in other colleges or departments of Guilin University of Technology.

短期汉语课程Short-term Chinese Language Program

夏令营 (15人或以上)

目标Objectives

为国际学生和游客团体提供一个良好的机会，促进他们对中国语言和文化、中国历史、中国教育、桂林风景名胜和历史文物的了解，体验中国正在进行的改革和巨大的变化。

To provide a good opportunity for groups of international students and visitors to promote their understanding of Chinese language & culture, Chinese history, education in China, scenic attractions and historical relics in Guilin and to experience the on-going reforms and great changes in China.

一对一汉语课程

One-on-One Chinese Programs

除了课堂(小组)教学外，一对一的教学计划也适用于任何想要学习一定水平或有特殊目的的汉语的个人。

In addition to class (group) teaching, a one-to-one teaching programs can also prepared for any individual who wants to study Chinese at a certain level or for a special purpose.

对象:无年龄限制，对中国充满好奇，希望提高汉语水平，参加HSK考试。

Target: No age limit, curious about China, ready to improve his/her Chinese proficiency, and to take an HSK test.

目标:满足学习者的特定需要，注重练习和目的，提高汉语的使用能力。

Goal: to satisfy a particular need of the learner, prioritize practice and purpose, and improve the ability to use Chinese.

内容:根据学生的需求，开设汉语课程及中国文化、政治、经济、历史等相关课程。

Contents: Chinese Language Courses and related courses such as Chinese culture, politics, economics and history are taught in light of the individual student’s specific intension.

教材:根据学生根据要求自行选择。

Textbooks: optional, including the choice made by the individual student, as requested.

教学方式:一对一，即一个学生一个老师。

Form of teaching: one on one, e.g. one student one teacher.

上课时间:由老师和学生商定。

Class time: fixed as negotiated.
